Directions
By Road
From the north: From M4 Junction 17, take the A350 south towards Chippenham. Follow the signs for the town centre and then for Bristol. Passing through a set of traffic lights near the mainline railway bridge, the road bends sharply to the right: The Pines is 100 yards on the left after the cinema and just before a mini roundabout.
From the south: Take the A350 north to Chippenham. Follow the road round the town (signs for M4) until you reach the roundabout by Morisions supermarket; turn right here and follow the signs for Chippenham town centre and Bristol and so on as per the directions from the north.
By Train
The Pines is five minutes walk or taxi ride from Chippenham train station, which is on the main line between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads. The railway passes through Didcot, Reading and Swindon to the east, and Bath Spa to the west.
Trains stop at Chippenham approximately once every half an hour. For train times and ticket prices, we suggest thetrainline.com.
